The Monson Historical Society is located in downtown Monson. Displays cover several local topics and events, such as the Monson Narrow Gauge Railroad, Monson Fair, and Juanita Grange, and Monson Academy.
There is also military memorabilia all the way from the Revolutionary War and a display on the slate mining business, which was traditionally a large industry in the area.
